These four pendants are a continuation of a new way of working for me. All of them have been individually crafted directly in metal, a process called fabrication. Each tiny leaf or branch is cut from sterling silver sheet; each stem or berry is made from sterling silver wire. The gems are Labradorite and Moonstone, both stones of personal internal light and mystery.
The design of each frame is related to the emotional resonance of the stone, and detailed with themes from nature. Some reference trees and forests, with leaves, branches, or other growth imagery. Others reflect the love of water, and all of its deep emotional connections and feature waves, ripples or raindrops. Often I use a moon and star to enhance the main image, and occasionally I incorporate an animal or bird.
The pieces are fully detailed all the way around, with a pierced out silver back on each pendant featuring an allegorical image that relates to the encircling frame. The pierced openings show off the deep color of the stone and add further depth and meaning to each piece.
The price of each piece varies and is based on following three things; the quality of the stone(s), the amount of detail in the reverse piercing, and the amount of soldered accents on the frame around the stone.

The exact stones and mountings can't be replicated, but more pieces in a similar style and with beautiful stones will be available throughout 2021.
Chains are sold separately, and NOT included in the price of the pendant. For a full selection of styles, visit the Chains page.
