Universal Eye Concept
The symbol of the wide-open human eye, often accompanied by rays of light, is an ancient talisman which has appeared in various cultures throughout the world.
It is believed this amulet may offer protection from the harmful effects of the malevolent “Evil Eye” stare meant to harm others with negative intentions.

Key Symbolism
This familiar object has been used for centuries as a symbol of the power to protect valuables, and ensure security. Throughout the ages, Keys have taken many different forms. This one features an Infinity symbol for the head of the key and the mathematical symbol for “approximately equal to” as the tines of the key.
The theme of these ideas combined is meant to remind us that although there may seem to be an infinity of choices, the ones we need the most are just an approximation, and not exact. This gives us the freedom to unlock our own potential, without seeking perfection or a definitive answer.
The gemstone comes to me already hand carved with the eye motif, and I make the one-of-a kind sterling silver setting for it.
