Universal Eye Concept

Originally designed to take a known quantity of weight to measure against an unknown mass, this powerful symbol of two pans balanced in relation to one another has come to represent justice and equality. They represent the idea of two opposing forces or elements achieving equilibrium.
Balance scales represent delicacy in equality, as only a small amount in either direction can tip the scales into opposition with one another. This symbol is meant to remind us of an equanimous life, where each important aspect of living is not given more weight than another, so that we can exist in harmony with ourdselves, and others.
The gemstone comes to me already hand carved with the eye motif, and I make the one-of-a kind sterling silver setting for it.
