This Labradorite pendant is meant to be double sided and can be worn either way.
The bezel of silver that holds this stone around the edges echoes the glint of light from a curved edge of a water drop. The lovely craquelure patterning in the stone shows a range of blue tones and play of light.
On the carving side, the solid sterling silver is pierced out to reveal the glowing blue of the stone, which has a small halo of orange light by the bottom leaf. The pierced leaves remind one of the dusky blue-green of hostas or other shade loving plants.
The movement and shape of the leaves are gentle yet strong, perfect for one whose strength is deep but typically not seen.
Along the top of the bezel, the part that crowns the shoulders of the stone and holds the jump ring bail has a pattern of openwork leaves, giving the top of the pendant a sense of depth in the foliage.
Stone measures 1.25" long by 1" wide by 1/4 "thick
