This Labradorite bracelet is meant to be double sided and can be worn either way. There is a hand made sterling silver swivel at the top of the inverted teardrop which allows you to rotate the stone with either the stone side facing up, or the carving side facing up while being worn.
The swivel only moves when the bracelet is open, so you don't need to worry about it rotating while it is on your wrist.
The clean crisp bezel of silver that holds this stone in place emphasizes the color and depth of the stone. The intricate craquelure patterning in the stone is accentuated by a beautiful yellow glow at the point of the stone that seems to make the blue even more vibrant in tone.
On the carving side, the solid sterling silver is pierced out to reveal the patterning in the stone. Reminiscent of leaf and branch shadows, this blue backdrop shows sparks of color that flicker around the two birds sitting perched among the leaves. Their peace in the evening light is meant to inspire reflection and contemplation at this most lovely time of day.
The edge work on the bezel goes all the way around, a triple pattern of twist wire and carved leaves that goes almost to the top of the stone.
The band of the bracelet is lined with sterling silver, and has a domed center with two rows of reverse twists on either edge, giving the bracelet a dramatic and substantial look that balances the design of the stone setting.
Very comfortable to wear and fits wrists from a standard 7" up to 8".
Stone measures 1" long by 3/4" wide by 1/4 "thick
