This beautifully toned pair of purple swirled Charoite creates a perfect showcase for the image of dragonflies in night flight. The stones have a translucent place in the upper corners, almost like light coming through the reeds at the water's edge.
Dragonflies start out life underwater, spending up to several years growing and changing in their aquatic home. Then they emerge onto a reed and shed their nymph bodies, unfurling their wings to become magnificent fliers. Their ability to thrive in various conditions is an excellent reminder of adaptability.
