The Universal Eye Concept
The symbol of the wide-open human eye, often accompanied by rays of light, is an ancient talisman which is believed to offer protection from the harmful effects of the “Evil Eye” stare of negative intentions.
This series has been named Universal Eye in part for the many cultures that use it, but also to bring protection to people from many different walks of life. Each carved gem is accompanied by a simple symbol on the back, meant to emphasis positive energy and bring specific attributes into play

Each symbol has its own meaning listed below. When paired with the Universal Eye of protection, the power of both symbols is magnified.
Symbols
Clover ~ A four leaf clover represents good fortune and the serendipity of patience and exploration that leads to its discovery.
Hand ~ The upraised hand represents action, communication and facilitation. This position is also very clear for setting boundaries and limits.
Harmony ~ The Yin Yang symbol represents a perfect balance of dark and light, male and female, night and day, and other opposites, bringing them into a unified whole of harmony.
Infinity Key ~ This symbol represents the ability to use inner knowledge to unlock future potential. The Infinity symbol represents the limitless options of self direction.
Knowledge ~ The book symbol represents wisdom as it is shared with others. Written down and bound between covers meant to help knowledge be passed along for long periods of time, Books are important objects of information and understanding.
Lotus ~ In many eastern cultures this symbolism represents enlightenment, or deep spiritual knowledge. Another important meaning for this image is serenity.
The teardrop shaped pendants are 7/8" W x 3/4" L x 3/16" D including bail, where chain goes through. The stone has a high dome, and a deep carving of the Eye.
