The Dragonfly pendant is a captivating symbol representing transformation, featuring intricately carved wings that depict two distinct environments.
One side showcases a mountain range bordered by an ocean, complemented by a rising sun, phases of the moon, stars, and clouds. possibility in the distance, of our ability to traverse vastness and still be connected to the Growth and the Cycle of Time. The long view is meant to help us envision the future. The row of Stars down the tail of the Dragonfly connects us to our Cosmic origins.
The other side portrays a serene lotus pond with paired lotus, reeds, and rings of water. Above this are dragonflies flying in spirals of air, serving as a reminder to be present in the moment and appreciate the beauty around us. The Phases of the Moon down the length of the tail helps us remember the passage of time throughout the year, in the cycle of months.
The specially carved bail featuring a tree and pond reeds, and the three-dimensional quality of the wings add to the pendant's unique allure. Crafted from solid sterling silver, this pendant is not only visually stunning but also substantial to wear and hold.
Pendant is 1+1/2" tall x 1+1/2" wide x 1/2" thick, not including the bail where the chain goes through. It is shown on the 2.5 mm Byzantine chain.
