This Labradorite pendant is meant to be double sided and can be worn either way.
The clean crisp bezel of silver that holds this stone in place outlines the stone like a window into the night sky. The vibrant blue of the labradorite gem contains patterns like tree branches, glinting with trails of cloud and shimmers of light.
On the carving side, the solid sterling silver is pierced out to reveal a bird soaring high in the sky. The sun glitters in the upper left, and a stylize land form depicts the eart.
Along the top of the bezel, the part that crowns the shoulders of the stone and holds the jump ring bail has carved pine trees, and stars.
This piece evokes the Northwest, the clarity of sky and the sense of open wonder. The tall trees on either side provide shelter and protection, while the bird roams free.
Stone measures 7/8" long by 7/8" wide by 1/4 "thick. Please see image with penny to get a sense of the scale
